In 2009, Kappa Delta created National Girls Day for girls everywhere. This day of celebration and confidence-building empowers girls to realize their dreams and celebrate the "can do" attitude of girls. To spread the word, Kappa Delta has partnered with several organizations and companies committed to making a difference in the lives of girls. Kappa Delta chapters across the country host National Girls Day events with Girl Scouts in their communities. Other organizations and corporations plan celebrations and promote the day among their constituents and markets.
