Member Requirements

  • Kappa Delta is an organization dedicated to the furtherance of friendship and the development of women. A chapter selects new members based on a potential member’s values, accomplishments, and the likelihood that they will contribute something meaningful and lasting not only to the chapter, but to the sisterhood as well. Our membership selection policies do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or national origin. We welcome women of every color and creed to be a part of our organization provided they meet our standards in the areas of character, academics, and leadership potential.

    To be initiated, each new member must:

    • Meet all local and national financial obligations;
    • Be a full-time student (as determined by the institution);
    • Meet minimum national and local Panhellenic GPA requirements;
    • Meet the college’s requirements of good conduct and good standing;
    • Complete the new member education program and pass the final exam;
    • Be in good standing with the colony.
