Kappa Delta is honored to establish the Eta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Like UALR, our sorority values instilling in members a "lifelong desire to learn and to use knowledge in ways that will contribute to society." Kappa Delta promotes confidence in women, by encouraging members to be their best selves in the context of true friendship.
Kappa Delta is committed to developing "intellectual growth and cultural awareness" in its members. In short, we believe “Kappa Delta makes great things happen.” Our members come from all cultures and walks of life, and each adds her unique and lasting mark on the sorority and the world around her. Kappa Deltas are leaders on campus, in the community and in their fields of study. Since our earliest days, our organization has been outwardly focused. We consider sisterhood a wonderful gift, but insufficient as an end in itself. Kappa Delta places particular emphasis on the development of all women — not just KDs — and we are consistently seeking ways to make great things happen in the lives of women and children, as we tackle issues specific to those constituencies. This same outlook has made Kappa Delta a tireless advocate of the Panhellenic system. We believe that, as Greek women, we are stronger together than we could ever be separately. We strive daily to put that ethic into action within NPC and in local Panhellenics across the country. We encourage you to check out this Web site and to attend one of our informational meetings to learn more about Kappa Delta.
